Finally. That experiment seemed to take an ungodly amount of time, with all the light gone. And I don't enjoy being used as a living lantern.
I guess this means I can finally do something. Like wash my hair... And build a shelter. [barely audible grumbling here]
Oh. There's quicksand out in the forest. Don't go getting stuck in it like a stupid pair of humans did earlier. I'm not feeling particularly generous about pulling people out anymore.
[A noticeable pause as he considers something.]
Has anyone seen a red stone pendant? I need it back.
...And the Kelfes moon is out. It's lovely.

The moon always looks large right before Kelfes. If there were more Ferines, they would be setting up for festivities now. [almost sounds wistful]

Mm, I remember. The soft glow of lanterns, people playing their instruments to practice, parts of grand stories being recited to test their tone... and, of course, eager vendors setting up their marketplace. [she sighs, also sounding wistful] I remember before the festival would start, I would lead Shirley down one of the pathways and only attempt to keep her hands away from the merchandise.

The children I saw were scolded and had to apologize if they picked up wares or crafts. The ... elders were the only storytellers in my village, but there were drummers and singers always practicing.

I was the only one who really scolded Shirley and tried to teach her that simply picking up such things was unacceptable. Everyone else would practically give their crafts to her. [thus the reason why she's so spoiled :\ There's only so much one person can do against a village who adores Shirley] When I was old enough to have my teriques, I became one of the storytellers of the village when a festival would come along. I wasn't the best one, but it was still enjoyable to do.

You must have quite an imagination to become a storyteller. ...The Merines was blessed to have a role model like you when she was younger.

W-Well, I... [you're making her blush, Walter :\] I... suppose I could've been. You could say I played the role of Shirley's parents when we were out together. We had a caretaker for many years, but when she died, I had to take responsibility.

[Walter's so good with girls; he just doesn't really realize it or care =\] It must have been hard. It forces you to grow up quickly.

[Because he's Merinessexual :\] It was a little difficult, but I grew used to it. And besides, I think it's good experience for what'll happen in a couple of weeks.

[He totally needed a "Meeeriiiineeessss" moment like Senny =\] It was still experience that was forced upon you. But you managed to survive it, I suppose.

[He really did. :\ Maybe he can do it through roleplay?] I did. For the most part, it was really enjoyable. I suppose that's why I've grown attached to some of the residents here... [mothering them and all.]

I don't understand how you can't discriminate when they're potentially the same as the ones who killed so many Ferines in our world. Don't you feel for those that died by Vaclav's hands? [not mentioning her obvious death]
